CHELMSFORD

The excellent Mayor of Chelmsford Linda Mascot, outside the Civic Centre, accompanied by Mace Bearer ( for the past 30years) and driver John.

Linda has over 32 years of community involvement and was first elected to the Borough Council in 2011.

Linda works closely with children who have special needs as her job as inclusion manager at a local junior school, offering support to help them overcome learning difficulties 

 Linda’s main charity she is supporting in her year is YMCA Essex

On a busy day for the Mayor  I caught up with her between events and had a chat

I then met up with John again at the Light Carol service in the  beautiful Chelmsford Cathedral, where he was escorting the Deputy Mayor.
