The splendid Lord Mayor of Chester, Razia Daniels

Born in Dodoma, Tanzania, Razia has lived within  Chester’s City Walls since marrying Stephen in 1985.

She is a Gemmologist, and has been an elected Councillor since 2006, previously also serving as Lord Mayor in 2017-2018

The Lord Mayor and her team very kindly met me in the Lord Mayor’s Palour at Chester’s historic Town Hall

Razia clearly loves her time time as Mayor and shows fantastic enthusiasm and energy in her role

The Lord Mayors Charities she is mainly supporting are

Dial, West Cheshire, The Unity Centre,St Mary’s Hanbridge Centre, St Marks Church and Westminster Park Community Centre
