Councillor Jacqui Carwardine the Mayor of Hereford

Originally from Birmingham and serving in The Army for 10 years in the 1980’s, Jacqui moved to Hereford in 1997 and became a city councillor in 2003 

Jacqui had  a passion for horses and now also writes plays which have been performed  in the local theatre, and this partly explains her choices of charities to support in her year as Mayor 

The RSPCA and Encore Enterprises  which offers encouragement and support for youngsters through participation in entertainment and music
