Originally from Newcastle and a retired chemical engineer, Philip in his terms as Mayor of Northallerton has energetically transformed the image of the town, for the better. This is readily reflected in the impressive atmosphere of the main town high street.

When not on Mayoral duties Philip is a keen cyclist

I was lucky enough to catch up with Phil today outside the lovely Town Hall on the high street 

Phil’s main charity for his Mayoral year is the Hambleton Food Share which provides emergency food parcels for people in need
